Welcome to the August Boeger School, home of the Bobcats. All of the members of the Boeger staff are here to make this year academically successful for your child and to make sure our campus is a safe and secure environment. This handbook is a reference to keep for information about school practices and procedures. Please read it and keep it in a place where you can refer to it when needed.

We encourage you to join us in making this an exciting and rewarding school year of learning, discovery, and success for the students of August Boeger Middle School. Also, we encourage you to become involved here at school. There will be a Gear Up program to assist this year’s eighth grade class reach the goal of attending a four year university. Both of these programs include parents as active partners in the education of their children. Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA), School Site Council, GATE Advisory Committee, and the English Language Learner Advisory Committee meet regularly during the year.
